Mark S. Codella

Co-Founder and President, Stephen E. Codella Memorial Foundation

Mark has practiced as a Gastroenterologist in Northeast Philadelphia for 35 years and has served in various administrative roles, including Chairman of Medicine at Nazareth Hospital since 1999. He established Rhawn Street Endoscopy Center in 2006 and still serves as Medical Director of the facility. Mark has served on several medical boards, including the Drexel University College of Medicine Alumni Board and the Nazareth Hospital Medical Executive Committee. He holds an MD from Hahnemann Medical University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts. Mark is married to his wife Catherine, co-founder of the Foundation, for 36 years. He is most proud of raising two wonderful children, Stephen and Alexandra. Spare time is spent reading, running, biking, and ballroom dancing with Catherine. He is most happy to have Stephen’s dog, Archer, to spend down time with.
